High School Career
Lee went to Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Maryland, and completed his graduation. He played for its basketball team, where he was a Second-Team Baltimore Sun All-Metro and a First-Team All-Baltimore Catholic League selection in the final season.
Lee enrolled in prep school at St. Thomas More in Oakdale, Connecticut. He averaged 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists per game during the 2010–11 season. he leads his team to a 30–7 record and the National Prep School Championship.
Collegiate Career
He graduated from Drexel University and played for its basketball. As a junior, he was the nation’s fourth-leading scorer and averaged 21.4 points per game. He led Drexel, averaging 17.1 points as a sophomore. He scored a career-high 34 points against Old Dominion.
For Louisville, he scored averaging 23.6 points, and 6.2 rebounds during the Cardinals’ trip to Puerto Rico in August. He led the CAA, averaging 38.1 minutes per game.

Damion Lee joined the Miami Heat for the 2016 NBA Summer League. he signed with the Boston Celtics in September 2016. On August 24, 2017, Lee was traded to the Santa Cruz Warriors.
On March 13, 2018, Lee signed a contract with the Atlanta Hawks for 10 days and later re-signed. On July 14, 2018, Lee signed a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors, However, he then returned to the Santa Cruz Warriors.
