Shaun Livingston was born on September 11, 1985, in in Peoria, Illinois. He is the son of Reggie and Ann Wyman Livingston. He was raised along with his two sisters. He attended Richwoods High School where he played basketball for two years. He also played for the ‘Concordia Lutheran Grade School’ team and led them to get state titles in1999 and 2000.

he was then transferred to Peoria Central High School and led his team to win Class AA state titles in 2003 and 2004. he was named Illinois Mr. Basketball in 2005 and played in the McDonald’s All-American Game.

He was also listed as the No. 1 point guard. He got an opportunity to get admission at Duke University by basketball scholarship, However, he did not attend college hoops at Duke which he was supposed to join, instead, he was directly drafted to NBA.

Shaun signed the clippers in the 2004 ‘NBA Draft. He played well in the team and had a major contribution in the team with his outstanding performance. Mostly, he played as a point guard in the game.

During first two seasons he scored with an average of 6.3 points per game and played 91 games in total. However he missed 39 games during this season as he suffered a knee injury in 2007.

In 2007-08 Season, His contract wasn’t renewed by the clippers. Additionally, He chose Miami heat over Minnesota
Timberwolves and Portland Trail Blazers. He averaged 2.3 points per game in the first four games of Heat.

He signed a two-year contract with Charlotte Bobcats in 2010, where he played 73 regular-season games and averaged 6.6 points per game during the 2010-11 season. Later, He was traded to Milwaukee Bucks and then to Houston Rockets. In 2012 he was signed Washington wizards.

His good luck began when he joined Brooklyn Nets in 2013. He set season’s high of 23 points against Portland Trail Blazers. He played 76 games and scored with an average of 8.3 points per game and 3.2 assists with Brooklyn Nets.

In 2014, he signed a three year contract with Golden State Warriors. he had an injury in August therefore he had to miss out the game for a while. He came back and his team won the 2015 NBA Championship. In 2016, The Golden State Warriors couldn’t win but the team came back with strengeth and won the next season of NBA title against Cleveland Cavaliers. His contract was extended in 2017 and won NBA title 2018.
