The premiere of the first part of Harry & Meghan occurred on December 8, 2022. The conclusion of the second half occurred on Thursday, December 15, 2022. In 2022, the series had the greatest UK ratings of any Netflix series.
The highlights of Episodes 1, 2, and 3 kept viewers engaged throughout the whole week. This page includes highlights from Episodes 4, 5, and 6 that provide viewers with additional material for discussion.
Episode 4
The fourth episode begins with the couple’s wedding. Meghan remembered how she felt in a “quiet environment.” The couple provided several behind-the-scenes photographs of Meghan’s arrival at St. George’s Chapel, the formal banquet where they cut their wedding cake with a sword, and their first dance as husband and wife. At midnight, a beautiful fireworks display was observed.
The Duchess of Sussex had her first engagement with the Queen shortly after their wedding in May 2018. Meghan described the day as “such a fantastic day, we laughed.
” Meghan says Harry’s father is “extremely lovely,” emphasizing the importance of his participation in her wedding day support.
Meghan discusses the impact of unfavorable tabloid coverage on her public image. She also talks about her suicidal thoughts and how she was reportedly denied access to aid.
Doria Ragland expresses her grief at Meghan Markle’s suicidal thoughts. She stated:
“I remember her telling me she wanted to commit suicide, and it crushed my heart.” Because I knew it was horrible, but to be constantly picked at by these vultures, chipping away at her soul, to the point where she would consider not wanting to be here, that’s not an easy one for a mother to hear.”
Prince Harry voiced his “devastation” about how his wife was feeling.
“I knew she was struggling but I never anticipated it would go to that stage. I was both angry and embarrassed. I handled it as institutional Harry, not as spouse Harry. My royal responsibilities took over. I’d been taught to be more concerned with what other people thought. Looking back, I despise myself for it. What she required from me was far more than I could provide.”

Episode 5
In Episode 5, Harry discusses his feud with Prince William. It was “terrifying,” Harry claimed, to have his brother “scream and shout” at him during their conversation about him and Meghan leaving the royal family. He underlines that he made the decision to leave, not Meghan.
“It was scary to hear my brother yell and shout at me, and to hear my father utter things that were simply not true… The saddest thing was the schism that was made between me and my brother so that he is now on the institution’s side, and part of that I understand is his inheritance. So, to some extent, he is already aware that the survival and maintenance of this institution is part of his obligation.”
In this episode, Meghan discussed her relationship with her father. She stated that she and Thomas were close before she married into the royal family and that the collapse in their connection was caused by the media’s involvement.
Meghan confessed that she dressed in a variety of colors during her final week in the UK because she was not allowed to do so as a working royal. She stated: “That week, I wore a lot of different colors! ‘Let’s just look like a rainbow!’ I thought.”
6th episode
Tyler Perry discusses how, when Harry and Meghan landed in the United States, he offered them a place to stay for six weeks while the royal family and others assumed they were still in Canada. The couple then talks about the Daily Mail finding their location.
Meghan talks about her loss in 2020, which happened the morning after they moved into their new Montecito home. Because of the stress generated by the Daily Mail’s antics, Harry blames Meghan’s miscarriage on them.
The couple talks about their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, which Meghan claims took a long time to film before airing.
Meghan admits that she expected the most important lesson from the conversation to be about her mental health. Instead, it developed into a talk about racism.
When Harry returned to the UK for the first time since departing to attend Prince Philip’s funeral, he discussed familial tensions. He stated that talking to his father and sibling was difficult. Harry continued:
“I miss family reunions at various periods of the year, as well as my friends… Certain friends have now left me.”

The six-episode series debuted with 81.55 million hours viewed by nearly 28 million homes (in just four days), the largest of any documentary in a premiere week. It is currently the world’s second most popular English television series.
