Allison Holker Speaks Out About Her Husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ Death at the Age of 40
After Stephen “tWitch” Boss died, his wife, Allison Holker, said that her husband “lit up every room he walked into” and was the “backbone of our family.” He also inspired people, she said. She put words on paper.
Stephen “tWitch” Boss was Allison Holker’s husband who died. In a Dec. 14 statement about the death of the former DJ for the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the mother of three talked about how he had changed her life.
Holker told E! News, “My husband Stephen has left us.” “Stephen turned on the lights in every room he went into. His main goal was to lead with love and light. He was a great husband, dad, and sports fan.”
“He left a mark, and his great influence will last,” she said. “Every day, we’ll remember him. Our three kids and I want to be left alone during this terrible time.” She told her husband, “Stephen, we love you and miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”
E! News says that Boss did kill himself. 40. Fans have seen Boss bring happiness to their TV screens for a long time. He was on The Wade Robson Project and Star Search on MTV in 2003, and he came in second place on So You Think You Can Dance in 2008.
In 2010, Boss came back to the dance show for the All-Star season. There, he met another competitor named Holker. The couple got married in 2013, and they have three children: Weslie, 14, Maddox, 6, and Zaia, 3.
In 2014, Boss started working as a DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. In 2020, he became a co-executive producer and continued to do that work, as well as fill in as host, until the show ended in 2022. He also took part in Ellen DeGeneres’s game show, called Ellen’s Game of Games.
Boss has been in a number of TV shows and movies over the years, including a return to SYTYCD as a judge and cameos in shows like Modern Family and Bones as well as movies like Magic Mike XXL and the Step Up series.
Boss and Holker often shared short videos of themselves dancing together and spending time with their family on social media. The couple had been married for nine years just four days before Boss died. At the time, both of them paid tribute to him on social media.
“It’s been nine years!” On December 10, Holker wrote something on Instagram. “I am so happy to be able to celebrate this perfect, magical day!!! Saying “yes” to @sir twitch a lot was one of the best things I’ve ever done! I really am lucky and loved!! I love you, sweetheart, and I will never take you or OUR love for granted. I adore you.”
