Britney Spears is making it clear that she doesn’t mean anything bad. The singer explained why she posted a throwback photo of herself and her ex Justin Timberlake in matching basketball uniforms on Instagram on January 17 and then deleted it.

“The picture with my ex is from when it was clearer what it meant to be together,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on January 19. “Yes, that’s it!!!”

She also shared a short clip of herself getting a tattoo in Maui the day after posting the throwback with Justin, but she kept the tattoo a secret from fans. “Because it stinks. It stinks really, really bad!!!”

Reports said that the bad tattoo was related to her message about Justin, but Britney, who got married to Sam Asghari in June 2022, said that the two posts have nothing to do with each other.
