Fans Are Perplexed by a Throwback Video of Prince Harry Running: ‘hasn’t Changed’
After two videos from the 1980s and 2010s of Prince Harry running went viral on the social media site TikTok, royal fans online said that his happy running style “hasn’t changed” since he was 5 years old. The video, which was posted to TikTok on Sunday, shows Harry as an adult running a race with his brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton.
It also shows Harry as a child having fun at a school field day with Princess Diana. The video has been watched over a million times, which has confused people. The user striker6916 posted the viral video, which has gotten over 50,000 likes and over 200 comments from people who like the king. Here is where you can see it.
“When these two posts came out at the same time, it seemed odd that Harry’s way of running hadn’t changed. [emojis with hearts], “From what the video caption says. “This is the cutest,” said one user. “Harry beats everyone without even trying,” said another.
In addition to complimenting the prince, many people talked about how touching it was to see Princess Diana hug her youngest son when he finished his field day run. One person wrote, “Oh, look at how his mommy picks him up [pleading face emoji],” and another said, “I love how Diana picks him up, it’s so sweet it warms my heart.”
Princess Diana went to many of her children’s school sports events, like soccer games and field days, and sometimes even ran in races for parents. Early this year, a series of videos on social media showed the princess running in different school races.
This was around the same time as the 25th anniversary of her sad death in a Paris car accident in 1997, which happened on August 31. Even though there was no official royal event to mark the day, both Princes William and Harry paid tribute to their mother throughout the year.
Harry asked that the day be filled with “memories” and that his three-year-old and one-year-old children might have met their grandmother. In the first clip from the viral video, Harry, William, and Kate Middleton compete in a relay race before the London marathon in 2017.
The two brothers of the royal family raced against each other to bring attention to their Heads Together mental health campaign. Harry beat William to the finish line in the end, and cameras caught them laughing together afterward. Harry has worked with sports and sports charities for a long time.
In 2014, the royal started the first Invictus Games in London. This was a sporting event for ex-servicemen and women that was meant to improve their mental and physical skills. At the start of the games, the prince said, “I have seen with my own eyes how the power of sport can help wounded, injured, and sick Servicemen and women on their road to recovery.”
