Following a Bomb Threat, Patti Labelle Was Escorted Off Stage Mid-concert
Patti LaBelle’s show in Milwaukee was interrupted shortly on Saturday due to a bomb threat. LaBelle was rushed off stage, and the audience was forced to leave.
The 78-year-old singer was speaking to fans at the Riverside Theater in a video uploaded on Twitter when security arrived and escorted her away from the stage. LaBelle, who was in the middle of a performance, exclaimed “Wait!” as she attempted to accept flowers from fans, not understanding why the show had been halted.
Security removed LaBelle offstage after being told of the issue.

The Milwaukee Police Department told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that the building had been “safely evacuated.”
Later that evening, Milwaukee Police Capt. Warren E. Allen Jr. issued an update, stating that no bombs were discovered at the venue.

“K9 units searched the building. There were no explosive devices uncovered “Allen Jr. told the publication. “At this time, there is no danger to the public.”
Riverside Theater organizers also issued a statement, notifying fans that they are working with LaBelle to reschedule the show.
