‘I Might Need a Few of These,’ Gwyneth Paltrow Says of Hailey Bieber’s ‘Nepo Baby’ T-shirt
People like Hailey Bieber’s most recent outfit. This week in Los Angeles, the 26-year-old supermodel wore a “Nepo Baby” baby t-shirt, which made Gwyneth Paltrow happy.
Bieber’s “nepo baby” image was helped by a recent cover story in New York Magazine about a few famous entertainers. Paltrow, who is 50 years old, said in a comment on an Instagram post about Bieber’s outfit that she might wear one. The actor said, “I might need a few.”
Bieber is a model, the founder of Rhode skincare, and Justin Bieber’s wife. She is also the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, who brought the two of them together on the TODAY show in 2009, years before they met. Paltrow is the daughter of the actors Blythe Danner and Bruce Paltrow.
Bieber hasn’t talked about being part of a famous family since the New York magazine cover, but Paltrow did interview him about it in July 2022 for her YouTube show, Who’s in My Bathroom. Before the argument started, the couple talked about nepotism in Hollywood.
“Being someone’s child gives you access that other people don’t have,” Paltrow said. “However, I really do think that once you get your foot in the door—which you did wrongly—you almost have to work twice as hard and be twice as good.”
“Because people are ready to pull you down and say, ‘You don’t belong there’ or ‘You’re only there because your dad or mom put you there,'” she said. Bieber agreed and told Paltrow, “I need to hear this today.”
Paltrow worked with Bieber’s father before in the movie Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle, which came out in 1994. In the movie, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Matthew Broderick, and others were shown.
