Luca Nichetto’s Studio Moves Into a Pink Villa From the 1940s
Designer Luca Nichetto spent a year making his new studio out of a pink villa from the 1940s in Stockholm, Sweden. Even though there are no signs and it looks like a normal house to most people, it is now called the Pink Villa by the people who live nearby. Even though the pink outside catches your eye, it’s the inside that pulls you in.
The house was fixed up and renovated starting in 2021, and the interior design was done in-house at the same time. Luca designed most of the furniture in the house, including the sofas, chairs, lighting, and plant stands.
In the living room, the royal blue Arflex Banah sofa, two other chairs, and a bright yellow La Chance Float table stand out.
On the first floor are a meeting room with a black De Padova Railway table and black Office Robo chairs. There are pieces of colored glass everywhere to add color and visual interest.

During the week, Nichetto Studio’s offices are in the Pink Villa. On the weekends, the family stays there as a country vacation home. The Chalet is a guest room that used to be a garage. It now has its living room, bedroom, bathroom, and even a Swedish sauna.
The new studio is only a seven-minute walk from the water, and Branterna, a green area, is only a minute away, making it a quiet place to work or visit.
