Early Life

At the age of three years old, Arcidiacono was born in Philadelphia. Christopher and Courtney are his younger twin siblings. Sabrina is his older sister, and Nicole is his older sister. Michael is his younger brother. His parents, Joe and Patti Arcidiacono met at Villanova University, where Joe played offensive lineman on the football team and Patti was a cheerleader.

In the living room, his father put up a 6-foot plastic hoop. When he was a child, his father did this. Arcidiacono would often practice shooting jump shots and making layups on the small basketball hoop before moving on to a real basketball court.

He scored 50 points in one game of AAU. When he was at another game, he made eight three-pointers in a row. A Villanova coach said when he was in seventh grade that he would play for the Wildcats one day. Allen Iverson and Brian Dawkins were two of his favorite athletes when he was younger. After being a Penn State football player, Ben Luber, Arcidiacono trained with him when he was 8.

High School Career

Arcidiacono went to high school at Neshaminy High School, where he was coached by Jerry Devine. The team went to a PIAA Class AAAA tournament thanks to Arcidiacono, who was just a sophomore at the time.
A playoff game against Bartram High School saw him score 26 points, get 10 rebounds, and give 10 assists. He also had 10 steals and 10 assists. He scored 18 points per game and was named to the second team in Class AAAA.
The Villanova Wildcats had a basketball event called “Hoops Mania” in October 2010. After he went, he decided to play for the Wildcats.
A year after the Redskins reached the state quarterfinals, they lost to Penn Wood. He was named the Bucks County Courier Times player of the year at the end of his junior year. This is what the Philadelphia Inquirer said about him: They put him on the first team all-Southern Pennsylvania.
Arcidiacono finished his high school career at Neshaminy High School as the school’s all-time top scorer. College Career

It took Arcidiacono a long time to recover from the back injury he had when he was younger. Against the University of the District of Columbia, he scored 11 points in his first game as a college player.
In the next game, against Marshall, Arcidiacono became the first freshman Wildcat player to score 25 points since Scottie Reynolds did it in the first game of the season.
If he scored 32 points in overtime against St. John’s on January 2, 2013, that would be the most points he had ever scored. For the week of January 6, Arcidiacono was named Big East Rookie of the Week because of how well he played. At Syracuse on January 26, Arcidiacono made a three-pointer with 2.2 seconds left in the game to tie the game at 61.
Led by Arcidiacono, Villanova had a 20–14 season and made it to the NCAA Tournament. They were seeded ninth and played North Carolina in the first round, where they lost. When Arcidiacono played, he scored 10 points for the Wildcats.
They lost to the Tar Heels 78–71, though. He scored 11.9 points, had 3.5 assists, and grabbed 2.1 rebounds in each game. He played in all 34 games and averaged 34.0 minutes per game, which was the most for the team.
He was named Philadelphia Big 5 rookie of the year and was named to the All-Rookie team in the Big East by the league.
Arcidiacono worked on his footwork and shooting techniques for his sophomore season. It took Arcidiacono until the end of November 29 to make a shot, but he made one with 10.1 seconds left in the game. 63–59 Wildcats win over number two Jayhawks, who were ranked number 1.
He was on the All-Big 5 Second Team with Darrun Hilliard. He averaged 9.9 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.4 rebounds in each game. Arcidiacono played in 33 games and averaged 31.1 minutes per game, which made him the team’s top player.

Arcidiacono was named to the U.S. Basketball Writers Association’s Men’s All-District II Team for the 2014–15 season. It said that he was on the second team of All-District V. The National Association of Basketball Coaches did this. He was on the All-Big 5 First Team.
Arcidiacono was a member of the Preseason All-Big East team when he was a junior at Villanova. This year, he was on both the Oscar Robertson Award and the Naismith College Player of the Year watch lists.
There were ten people who were nominated. He was chosen to be one of the top ten. At the end of the season, Arcidiacono was named to the Second Team All-Big East. Arcidiacono helped Villanova win the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship in 2016.
In the title game against North Carolina, he gave the game-winning assist to Kris Jenkins, and he was named Most Outstanding Player for the way he played. He scored 12.5 points and grabbed 4.2 rebounds per game as a senior, and he made 39% of his three-point shots.
On February 12, 2020, he had the number 15 jersey at Villanova put away because he was a great player.

Professional Career

The San Antonio Spurs signed Arcidiacono after he didn’t get chosen in the 2016 NBA draught. He played in the 2016 NBA Summer League with the Spurs. After three preseason games, he signed with the Spurs on July 14, 2016.
On October 22, he was let go by the team. San Antonio signed him up for the Austin Spurs, a team that plays in the NBA Development League as an affiliate of the Spurs.
For the 2017–18 season, Arcidiacono signed with the Italian team Juvecaserta Basket. Then, he changed teams. However, on July 14, 2017, it was announced that Juvecaserta would not be allowed to play in Serie.
A because it had been rejected by Com. Tec. (Commission of control on the companies’ financial statements), so it would not be allowed to play. The contract with the Italian company was then scrapped because of this.
He signed a two-way contract with the Chicago Bulls on July 25, 2017, which is when he played for the Bulls in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. This is the team he played for in the NBA Summer League that year.
As a result, he would spend a lot of time between Chicago and their G League team, the Windy City Bulls. Arcidiacono would spend most of his time in the Windy City. When Arcidiacono signed with the Bulls on July 31, 2018, he agreed to a standard deal. He signed a three-year deal with the Bulls on July 2, 2019.
He joined the Boston Celtics on September 28, 2021. However, on October 16, he was let go. The Maine Celtics signed him as an “affiliate” on October 23, and now he plays for them. He signed a 10-day deal with the New York Knicks on January 6, 2022.
He was let go by the Knicks on January 13, even though he hadn’t played in a game. He signed a standard 10-day contract with the team on January 19, but he never played for them again. On January 31, 2022, the Maine Celtics bought back Arcidiacono from the New York Knicks again.
February 13th was a big day for Arcidiacono. The New York Knicks signed him to play for the rest of the 2021–22 season.

National Team Career

He was called up to the United States national under-18 team in June 2012. This happened in June of 2013. In that month, he was one of the people who could play in the 2013 FIBA Under-19 World Championship.

His “experimental” Italian national team had international friendly tournaments in May 2015. At that time, he was chosen to play for them. It turned out that one of his ancestors had already given up their Italian citizenship, so his claim to Italian citizenship by Jus sanguinis was rejected.
