Selena Gomez answered critics who had said bad things about her body online after her appearance on the red carpet at the Golden Globes on Tuesday.
The singer, producer, and actress sent a message on Instagram with her date, her younger sister Gracie Teefey, in which they talked about how important it is to have a positive attitude about your body.
She asked Teefey, “I mean… right?” after saying, “I’m a little bit fat right now because I had fun over the holidays.” “Yeah!” Teefey said what he thought. Gomez’s supporters rushed to help him almost right away.
One person said that the person speaking shouldn’t have to explain why she looks the way she does.

Someone else wrote, “She’s great, and she has no reason to answer questions.” Gomez was nominated for an award for her role in the Hulu show “Only Murders in the Building.”
In 2022, when people were criticizing her looks, she said something similar to her fans. She said, “Honestly, I don’t care about my weight because people complain about it no matter what. “That doesn’t fit,” “You’re too small,” “You’re too big,” and “That doesn’t fit,” na-na-na-na… I am amazing in every single way.
