Shaun Livingston was born on September 11, 1985, in in Peoria, Illinois. He is the son of Reggie and Ann Wyman Livingston. He was raised along with his two sisters. He attended Richwoods High School where he played basketball for two years. He also played for the ‘Concordia Lutheran Grade School’ team and led them to get state titles in1999 and 2000.
he was then transferred to Peoria Central High School and led his team to win Class AA state titles in 2003 and 2004. he was named Illinois Mr. Basketball in 2005 and played in the McDonald’s All-American Game.
He was also listed as the No. 1 point guard. He got an opportunity to get admission at Duke University by basketball scholarship, However, he did not attend college hoops at Duke which he was supposed to join, instead, he was directly drafted to NBA.

Shaun signed the clippers in the 2004 ‘NBA Draft. He played well in the team and had a major contribution in the team with his outstanding performance. Mostly, he played as a point guard in the game.
During first two seasons he scored with an average of 6.3 points per game and played 91 games in total. However he missed 39 games during this season as he suffered a knee injury in 2007.
