The best friend of Taylor Swift, Abigail Anderson Berard, has become a mother.

In an Instagram post, 34-year-old Anderson Berard and her husband Charles Berard announced the birth of their son Bennett “a few weeks earlier than expected.”

The small hand of the newborn is tightly wrapped around Anderson Berard’s finger in the following black-and-white photo.

“Love is exploding in our hearts,” stated Anderson Berard. “Benedict, welcome to your world—it’s all yours.”

While Swift has not yet responded to Anderson Berard’s post, a number of well-known figures have already done so.

“Hello Bennett, welcome!” Gigi Hadid composed. “Well done, mama:)”

“Congratulations & lots of love.” Added Lily Aldridge.

Swift’s song “Never Grow Up,” whose lyrics begin with a fitting description of the picture, was also cited by several admirers.

The song starts, “You’re little hand’s wrapped around my finger, and it’s so quiet in the world tonight.”

The announcement of Anderson Berard’s pregnancy was made a little more than three weeks ago, on July 24, when she shared an Instagram picture of her growing baby bulge.

With a reference to Taylor Swift’s song “But Daddy I Love Him” from her most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, she captioned the photo, saying, “I’m having his babyyyy.”

Swift immediately pounced on the remarks, saying, “I feel like this pic is actually what people mean when they say ‘MOTHER,'” online.

More than 100,000 people have liked the comment alone.

In 2009, Swift discussed her acquaintance with Anderson Berard during an Oprah Winfrey Show interview.

“Many of my pals follow in my footsteps. They are either singers, actresses, or similar professions. But when I was fifteen, I met my best friend, Abigail,” the woman remarked. “We sat next to each other in English on the first day of school as freshmen.”

It seems sense that Anderson Berared influenced her song “Fifteen.”

We’ll leave this place as soon as we can, the song says. “You sit in class next to a redhead named Abigail / And soon enough you’re best friends / Laughing at the other girls / Who think they’re so cool.”

During an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2008, Anderson Berard discussed their friendship from high school.

We were the ones at the back of the class talking badly about Romeo and Juliet because we were so resentful of that feeling at the time,” she remembered, maybe alluding to Swift’s song “Love Story.”

“We just clicked so well, and we haven’t been apart since,” she continued.
