Teresa Giudice says that she and Jen Shah are not the same person, even though they are both from the show “Real Housewives” and have been in prison.

“I can’t relate to that [Shah’s sentencing] because I would never do something like that, you know?” the 50-year-old “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star said on the podcast “Namaste B$tches” on PodcastOne on Wednesday.

Giudice said that her 11-month sentence is very different from Shah’s upcoming 6-and-a-half-year sentence.

The Bravo star said that she was arrested because she accidentally signed papers that let her ex-husband commit fraud. Shah, on the other hand, ran a nationwide telemarketing scheme that targeted hundreds of people, especially the elderly.

Giudice added, “Listen, it’s sad, but I wouldn’t steal anyone’s money.” “That’s not something I would ever do. I would never do something like that.”

Giudice said that being compared to Shah “bothers” her because, unlike Shah, she was “innocent” and “just signed papers Joe [Giudice] told me to sign.”

“I’m sure my kids know I didn’t do anything wrong.” Joe had said, “Giudice continued. “But if you steal from people and your kids see this, they’ll ask, “Mom, why did you do this?”

“How do you explain that to your kids?” In 2015, the mother of four was in prison for less than a year, while Joe was locked up for 41 months. After he finished, he was sent back to Italy.

The 49-year-old “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star, Giudice, said this less than a week after she was sentenced to six and a half years in prison for wire fraud.

Shah changed her plea from “not guilty” to “guilty” a few days before her trial. If she is found guilty, she could go to prison for up to 14 years. During her sentencing, Shah said she was sorry to her family and to the people she hurt. She also said she was sorry to the judge.

In March 2021, the reality TV star was arrested while making Season 2 of “RHOSLC.” On February 17, Shah will be given his sentence.
