The Rings of Power in the Lord of the Rings the Actress Reveals a Deleted Scene That Will Change the Ending
One of the actors in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power told about a scene that wasn’t in the first season. Owain Arthur is Prince Durin IV. In the first season of The Rings of Power, he and Elrond discovered mithril, a powerful metal capable of resurrecting the Middle-elves.
On earth, Durin agreed to help save his friend, but his father, King Durin III, forbade it and sent Elrond away from Khazad-dum in Moria. Elrond left with a chunk of Mithril. Arthur says that in “The Rings of Power,” Prince Durin defies his father and gives Elrond the Mithril.
“We really did shoot the scene when I gave it to him quickly without my father knowing, so that Middle-earth could see a glimmer of hope,” Arthur tells TVLine. “I like that Durin defied his father for his pal.” He acted on what he believed in.
With Season 2 of The Rings of Power being filmed in the UK, Arthur says that viewers may not have seen During and Elrond together for the last time, even though Elrond has returned to the elves.
“We had a fight at the start, but it made us stronger, and we got over it.” “Elrond is not allowed in Khazad-dûm, but I’m not, so I guess he can visit him.”
The first season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has been streamed for more than 24 billion minutes by more than 100 million people around the world. This makes it Prime Video’s biggest launch. Rings of Power was also at the top of Nielsen’s streaming list in its first weekend.
The first season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is on Prime Video. The Making of The Rings of Power, with a behind-the-scenes film and “making of” extras, also came out recently.
