Zach Rance, a former contestant on Big Brother, is pleading for assistance after receiving death threats even ten years after joining the show.

As per The Shahab, Rance said in a video, “This is me asking for help to all the people that follow me, to all the Big Brother fans, to anybody that’s ever watched a season of Big Brother.” “Since Big Brother debuted in 2014, I have been subjected to constant and unbearable harassment for the last ten years.”

“It was time for me to come out to the public and discuss what’s going on here and ask you guys for help,” he continued.

“I have received extremely specific and vulgar emails about myself, my family, and they are threatening and they are direct threats to not only my life but my family’s life and my friends’ lives.”

In 2014, Rance participated in the 16th season of the CBS competition series. He befriended Frankie Grande, pop singer Ariana Grande’s elder brother, while he was a cast member. Viewers of the show adored witnessing Rance and Frankie’s strong friendship and gave them the nickname “Zankie.”

“In the house, I had a pretty tight friendship with him. Many of our supporters and viewers of Big Brother believed that we would have been in a relationship by the time we left the house, Rance said.

We weren’t dating after the show, so that wasn’t the case. Additionally, our “showmance” never materialized.

Many fans were “upset” and “disappointed,” Rance continued, that he and Frankie had not gotten together after the show. After the season ended, both Rance and Frankie, 41, moved on. However, after his contact details were made public, Rance began to receive a barrage of emails and texts.

The life coach revealed that some of the texts were labeled as “in the closet,” while others were “mean” and “rude.” (In 2020, Rande revealed his bisexuality.)

He claimed, “I kept getting these emails.” “Every day, I was receiving emails that said, ‘Zach, you should commit suicide because you’re a f–got and an ashamed closeted gay.'”

At this point, Rance has printed up “four to six months’ worth of emails” and stuffed them into “massive binders.” He pointed out that the quantity he has printed thus far is insignificant in comparison to the about “5,000” that he has received over the previous ten years.

“I didn’t really know what to do because these threats kept getting harsher, worse, more direct, and more specific,” Rance acknowledged. “And I was a little afraid that the person sending these emails would hurt my family or me physically.”

Apart from receiving the menacing communications, Rance’s family has also been subjected to offensive letters indicating that his grandmother and father have been the recipients of anti-Semitic remarks. Rance claims that the emails are being sent by an unidentified sender and that he has not been able to identify the IP address of the user.

“It’s been going on for way too long, even though I continue to fight and even though I look at the positive and I use this as a what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger type of thing,” he remarked.”Ten freaking years have passed.” It’s 2024 and Big Brother was on in 2014. And these emails are still being sent by this person every day.

Now, Rance is requesting that any Big Brother fans—particularly those who are part of the Zankie fandom—share with him any information that may identify the individual who may be making these threats.
