Jennifer Hudson’s People of the Year Cover Reveals: ‘what a Way to End the Year!’
Jennifer Hudson, one of the PEOPLE’s People of the Year, is having a party! On her syndicated talk show on Wednesday, the singer, actress, and producer thanked her audience for liking her new cover for PEOPLE.
She said, “I’ve been very lucky this year to be on a talk show and go on this trip with you guys.” “Thank you for telling me your stories, giving me your time, hearts, and love, and coming to see me. Thank you.”

Hudson became the youngest woman to EGOT in June when her production of A Strange Loop won a Tony Award. In this week’s issue of PEOPLE, she tells the magazine, “It’s a big honor, and we’ve been having a party every day.” “I can do more, but that’s what I do for a living. I lead with a lot of energy.”
The premiere of The Jennifer Hudson Show was in September. Even though everything she does makes her “anxious,” she loves the process of learning because “doing things that scare us is how we grow.”
